"Then + Now" was a solo exhibition that was open February 11-20, 2020 in the Smith Gallery | Grinnell, IA. The show was designed, created, installed, and curated by Helena Gruensteidl.

Can you feel nostalgia for a memory that isn't your own?

The videos on display were collected from over 100 anonymous individuals. The only stipulation for submission was that the video have some importance to its creator.

The projections are 35mm photo collections taken by the artist.
